In Discovery Camp, campers partake in a daily activity rotation offering sports, art, music, drama, science & nature and group games. Camp activities will be held at the Pfaff Center, and the Dale Street School’s fields and courts. We return an excited and experienced group of staff and counselors dedicated to providing your camper a spectacular summer.
Campers will be grouped according to their age and grade.
Updates for summer 2020:
--> Groups no larger than 12 this summer (9 campers & 3 staff)
--> Camp will be RESIDENTS only
--> We will not go to Hinkley Pond
--> Camp day will run 9am - 2pm
--> Camp will be cancelled if the forecast is for a rain day
Board of Health regulations requires each child to have an up-to-date health form on file. The form requires an up-to-date immunization record, physical and emergency contact information in the event of a medical emergency. As was the case in previous years, all health forms will be completed and stored in an online database through www.CampDoc.com.
You will only need to complete the form once (should take about 5 minutes) and upload your child's physical and immunization report to the site. Returning campers will need to update their information in their profile including an up-to-date immunization and physical. There will also be new authorizations to sign off on regarding camp this year and COVID-19.
Kids will need the following on a daily basis for camp: refillable, reusable water bottle, snack, lunch, sunscreen (applied prior to camp and a bottle to re-apply during the day) and SNEAKERS (no open-toed shoes allowed). We want to limit the number of items campers bring each day as space will be limited. Please send lunch in a disposable lunch bag.
This camp must comply with regulations of the Massachusetts Department of Public health and be licensed by the Medfield Board of Health.
