NO PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE REQUIRED. Learn beginner fundamentals, proper technique and strokes from the skilled professionals of Dick Waterfall Tennis. Lessons are designed for beginner through intermediate skilled players. Participants will be grouped by age and/or skill level.Equipment will not be provided.  Children ages 5-8 should have a 21 inch racquet.Children ages 8-12 should have a 23 inch racquet.*** This activity is for Medfield residents only. Please note that this is a 4-day program that runs Monday through Thursday, with Friday serving as a potential make-up date in case of rain.

2021 PRACTICE SCHEDULE:   Hinkley Pond Practices start June 21Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday 5:30-6:30pm @ Hinkley Swim Pond(no morning practices)   Starting July 5 (once meet season begins):    Practices: Monday and Wednesday, 5:30-6:30pm @ Hinkley PondScrimmage Meet or Practice, Tuesdays and Thursdays, 5-6pm @ Hinkley Pond ** Note, if the traditional meet season does not take place, or the meet schedule against other towns is limited, we will run intra-squad meets with members of the Marlins on the regular meet nights. Coaches will split the Marlins into two teams to compete during the meets. We will track times throughout the summer. -- If no meets, or modified meets, practices will be held Monday-Tuesday-Wednesday starting after July 1. Meets would be held on Thursdays. All would start at 5pm.The Medfield Marlins swim team is open to Medfield youth only, ages 5 to 18. Proof of residency is required to participate on the swim team. Please note: All swimmers on the Marlins must be able to swim 25 yards unassisted (no kick board or lifeguard assistance). There will be a swim team orientation at the beginning of the season - date TBD @ Hinkley.Fee does not include:      Swim Suits or Swim Caps (Orders will be due by TBD)

6:00 PM - 6:45 PM    SUMMER FIELD HOCKEY CLINICS - Summer field hockey clinic (2-3)
Learn the basics in field hockey! All skill levels are welcome. We will explore the basic rules of the game, proper grips & posture, ball and stick control, tackling, receiving/trapping, passing and go through fun drills. Depending on class size, we will try to get some game action in as well!Required equipment includes a field hockey stick, shin guards and mouth guard. A face mask would also be encouraged. We do have a LIMITED number available for purchase at the Pfaff Center. Class will be led by our head coach Lynne Malmquist, a former varsity field hockey player at Medfield High School.

2021 PRACTICE SCHEDULE:   Hinkley Pond Practices start June 21Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday 5:30-6:30pm @ Hinkley Swim Pond(no morning practices)   Starting July 5 (once meet season begins):    Practices: Monday and Wednesday, 5:30-6:30pm @ Hinkley PondScrimmage Meet or Practice, Tuesdays and Thursdays, 5-6pm @ Hinkley Pond ** Note, if the traditional meet season does not take place, or the meet schedule against other towns is limited, we will run intra-squad meets with members of the Marlins on the regular meet nights. Coaches will split the Marlins into two teams to compete during the meets. We will track times throughout the summer. -- If no meets, or modified meets, practices will be held Monday-Tuesday-Wednesday starting after July 1. Meets would be held on Thursdays. All would start at 5pm.The Medfield Marlins swim team is open to Medfield youth only, ages 5 to 18. Learn the basics in field hockey! All skill levels are welcome. We will explore the basic rules of the game, proper grips & posture, ball and stick control, tackling, receiving/trapping, passing and go through fun drills. Depending on class size, we will try to get some game action in as well!Required equipment includes a field hockey stick, shin guards and mouth guard. A face mask would also be encouraged. We do have a LIMITED number available for purchase at the Pfaff Center. Class will be led by our head coach Lynne Malmquist, a former varsity field hockey player at Medfield High School.

Learn the basics in field hockey! All skill levels are welcome. We will explore the basic rules of the game, proper grips & posture, ball and stick control, tackling, receiving/trapping, passing and go through fun drills. Depending on class size, we will try to get some game action in as well!Required equipment includes a field hockey stick, shin guards and mouth guard. A face mask would also be encouraged. We do have a LIMITED number available for purchase at the Pfaff Center. Class will be led by our head coach Lynne Malmquist, a former varsity field hockey player at Medfield High School.

Coaches will split the Marlins into two teams to compete during the meets. We will track times throughout the summer. -- If no meets, or modified meets, practices will be held Monday-Tuesday-Wednesday starting after July 1. Meets would be held on Thursdays. All would start at 5pm.The Medfield Marlins swim team is open to Medfield youth only, ages 5 to 18. Proof of residency is required to participate on the swim team. Please note: All swimmers on the Marlins must be able to swim 25 yards unassisted (no kick board or lifeguard assistance). There will be a swim team orientation at the beginning of the season - date TBD @ Hinkley.Fee does not include:      Swim Suits or Swim Caps (Orders will be due by TBD)

Learn the basics in field hockey! All skill levels are welcome. We will explore the basic rules of the game, proper grips & posture, ball and stick control, tackling, receiving/trapping, passing and go through fun drills. Depending on class size, we will try to get some game action in as well!Required equipment includes a field hockey stick, shin guards and mouth guard. A face mask would also be encouraged. We do have a LIMITED number available for purchase at the Pfaff Center. Class will be led by our head coach Lynne Malmquist, a former varsity field hockey player at Medfield High School.

Laxachusetts Girls Lacrosse and Medfield Parks and Recreation are joining forces to provide a summer program for both NEW AND CURRENT lacrosse players!This program is led by the Laxachusetts girls staff, and will focus on improving individual stick work, team concepts, offensive/defensive strategies, small side games and fun competitions!  All participants will need to bring a stick, goggles, mouth guard, water, and their intensity!PLEASE NOTE: This is a 4-day program with Friday set as the make-up date if needed!

MINECRAFT MANIA IS BACK FOR 2021Minecraft Mania is a blend of virtual learning and companion hands-on activities that explore science and engineering using Minecraft. Use an interactive avatar to investigate a game-based educational environment. Minecraft Mania lessons have both computer and real world components covering geology, engineering, physics, and biology. Serious Minecraft Maniacs will be excited to learn about the properties of rocks and minerals and take home their own rock collection. We’ll use our skills to build skyscrapers and simple machines as well as plant our own crops in enjoyable experiential challenges.
