  Skyhawks Beginning Golf is powered by Payne Stewart Golf Experiences, the recommended entry-level golf program for PGA Junior Golf Camps. The unique, games-based play program and modified learning equipment make it easier for kids to hit the ball and experience early success. Putting, chipping, pitching and full swing, are all taught through games, simple repetitive motions and learning rhymes that make it easy for young kids to remember and repeat. Specially designed, age-appropriate golf equipment is provided. Players may NOT bring their own clubs. Participants should bring a water bottle and wear appropriate athletic attire.

In addition to traditional golf, children will get to explore and practice the basics of disc (frisbee) golf and foot (soccer) golf. All equipment is provided. Engaging hands-on chemistry projects will encourage kids to be junior scientists. Unlock the secrets of the laboratory to create customized soaps, lotions and potions. Explore how chemists create formulas and make your own cool products to take home. Next, create and design colorful art-based projects while learning science concepts. Construct a kinetic motion-based marble painting, colorful kaleidoscopes, and use chromatography to find hidden colors. Experiment with primary and secondary colors while growing polymers and create a undersea scene.This is a 10 week class run by Wicked Cool for Kids. No Class April 15th - Vacation Week No Class on May 27th - Memorial Day

Join us to cultivate a sense of inner serenity and renewed vitality on the mat, fostering a harmonious balance that resonates long after the class concludes. Paula Cleary is a registered 200-hour yoga instructor with Yoga Alliance. Trained in the practices of Vinyasa and Yin Yoga, she also teaches regularly at Medfield Yoga Studio.  Paula is a practicing Stress Resilience + Wellbeing Coach and Energy Healer, who loves to weave her unique skills into each class to enhance the stress-reducing and healing benefits of a yoga practice.  She is a long-time Medfield resident, having raised her two children here in our community. Paula loves to spend time with her family and her two Westie dogs, enjoys reading and is happiest when near the ocean.

Classes will focus on the progression of T-ball skills and game play through fun and engaging drills with the instructor.  Kids will start with tee stands and progress to underhand pitching in addition to practicing fielding skills.  From understanding the basic rules and batting techniques to knowing when/how to run the bases and "play the field", kids will gain the essence of the sport and have fun while playing practice games.

Each class is organized around a seasonally relevant topic (ex: Grasshoppers, fall leaves, winter birds, signs of spring & more!), that we will investigate through a combination of hands on exploration, active movement, outdoor play, games, songs, crafts and stories. Class will be held at the Pfaff Center in the colder months.Our classes will begin and end inside the main hall. We will be exploring the outdoors throughout the lesson.

NO CLASS ON 2/22 & 4/18Chess Wizards is so popular with kids because of our unique structure. First, we let kids get the wiggles and giggles out with 10 minutes of free play and review of past taught topics. We then go right into the week's lessons. We separate students based on skill levels and teach different lessons best suited to their individual needs. All lessons have an activity and homework to accompany them and we have well over 80 different lessons to keep challenging our little wizards! Chess has been taught for thousands of years because of its emphasis on logic, tactics and sportsmanship. Let us coach your kids to a higher level of education!

Putting, chipping, pitching and full swing, are all taught through games, simple repetitive motions and learning rhymes that make it easy for young kids to remember and repeat. Specially designed, age-appropriate golf equipment is provided. Players may NOT bring their own clubs. Participants should bring a water bottle and wear appropriate athletic attire.

In addition to traditional golf, children will get to explore and practice the basics of disc (frisbee) golf and foot (soccer) golf. All equipment is provided. THEY ARE TOO OLD FOR MICRO SOCCER. The clinic will be broken down into three-time slots:8:45 - 9:30am9:45 - 10:30am10:45 - 11:30am   During each session, a group of 15 children (maximum) will be led through engaging drills and fun games by our coaches/volunteers.  All participants will need to have their own size 3 soccer ball with them. First, we let kids get the wiggles and giggles out with 10 minutes of free play and review of past taught topics. We then go right into the week's lessons. We separate students based on skill levels and teach different lessons best suited to their individual needs. All lessons have an activity and homework to accompany them and we have well over 80 different lessons to keep challenging our little wizards! Construct a kinetic motion-based marble painting, colorful kaleidoscopes, and use chromatography to find hidden colors. Classes will focus on the progression of T-ball skills and game play through fun and engaging drills with the instructor.  Kids will start with tee stands and progress to underhand pitching in addition to practicing fielding skills.  From understanding the basic rules and batting techniques to knowing when/how to run the bases and "play the field", kids will gain the essence of the sport and have fun while playing practice games.

All four courts will be used during each lesson.  Equipment will not be provided.  Children ages 5-7 should have a 21 inch racquet.Children ages 8-10 should have a 23 inch racquet.Children ages 11-14 should have a 25 inch racquet.Participants should be able to easily maneuver their racquet.Please notice the change in times from previous years. We have added a 5 minute buffer between classes for pick up/drop off.

First, we let kids get the wiggles and giggles out with 10 minutes of free play and review of past taught topics. We then go right into the week's lessons. We separate students based on skill levels and teach different lessons best suited to their individual needs. All lessons have an activity and homework to accompany them and we have well over 80 different lessons to keep challenging our little wizards!   Skyhawks Beginning Golf is powered by Payne Stewart Golf Experiences, the recommended entry-level golf program for PGA Junior Golf Camps. Putting, chipping, pitching and full swing, are all taught through games, simple repetitive motions and learning rhymes that make it easy for young kids to remember and repeat. Specially designed, age-appropriate golf equipment is provided. Players may NOT bring their own clubs. Participants should bring a water bottle and wear appropriate athletic attire.

(Campers will need to provide their own ball each day at camp.)Board of Health regulations requires each child to have an up to date health form on file. The form requires an up-to-date immunization record, physical and emergency contact information in the event of a medical emergency. New this year, all health forms will be completed and stored in an online database through www.campdoc.com. You will only need to complete the form once (should take about 5 minutes) and upload your child's physical and immunization report to the site.

NO PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE REQUIREDOur philosophy is a games based approach to our coaching. We create a safe, fun and exciting atmosphere . Each day we will work on technique and fitness as well as play many of our fantastic games. Players should bring a racquet, water, snack and appropriate clothing and sunscreen.
