ADVENTURE CAMP 2021
The registration fee for camp will show as $50 per week -- this is for the deposit only. The final price for a week of camp will be decided once we have a final determination on how camp can run this summer. We anticipate this coming at some point later in the spring, but do not have a timetable on that yet.
This $50 deposit will hold your child's spot for each week you register (so if you reserve 4 weeks for your child, the deposit will be $200). If you decide you no longer want to attend camp after we make our final plans known, you would get an account credit for each deposit to be used towards any future programs. We will not be offering refunds for the deposit.
Once the final price for a week of camp is determined, we will email all those registered with that information. You can then decide to opt into camp and have your deposit applied to the camp fee, or withdraw from camp and have the deposit become an account credit.
We anticipate the cost of full day camp to be between $275-325 depending on the week and the specific camp.
------ ADVENTURE CAMP INFO ------
Adventure Camp boasts a jam-packed schedule and a friendly staff that always show they know the meaning of fun! Each week offers sports, crafts, field games, and a variety of unique, age-appropriate challenges and experiences. Campers attend one field trip per week, visit Hinkley swim pond every afternoon, and take part in special all-camp events throughout the summer.
Daily activities will be held at the Dale St. gymnasium, courts and fields.
FIELD TRIPS -- at this time, we are unsure as to what we'll be able to do about field trips. We are hoping to be able to do SOME trips this summer, but it is unlikely we'll be able to go to Canobie Lake Park this summer. Once we have updates on this, we will have an email out.
Board of Health regulations requires each child to have an up-to-date health form on file. The form requires a current immunization record, physical and emergency contact information in the event of a medical emergency. All health forms will be completed and stored in an online database through www.CampDoc.com. You will receive an email from CampDoc once your child's profile is ready to setup.
You will only need to complete the form once (should take about 5 minutes) and upload your child's physical and immunization report to the site. Returning campers will only need to update their information in their profile including an up-to-date immunization and physical. WE CANNOT TAKE ANY CHILDREN WITH INCOMPLETE HEALTH PROFILES!
Kids will need the following on a daily basis: full water bottle, snack, lunch, sunscreen, bathing suit (worn to camp), towel. Kids should come with sunscreen pre-applied in the morning, and a bottle to re-apply prior to the pond.
PLEASE SEND YOUR CHILD IN THEIR BATHING SUIT!
This camp must comply with regulations of the Massachusetts Department of Public health and is licensed by the Medfield Board of Health.
