Come explore the wonders of Mother Nature this winter with your young naturalist! Spot butterflies, identify bird calls, and create your own fox den alongside skilled teach naturalists!  These classes provide a foundation for future outdoor learning and exploration as well as a fun and exciting way for your child to get active! Offered year-round, every season provides new experiences, topics, and exploration!This class will run outside of the Pfaff Center. During inclement weather, the class will be held in the main hall to maintain appropriate social distancing. 
 
12:30 PM - 2:00 PM    Fun Club with Ana! - Fun Club (Wednesday)
Fun Clubs are a safe and nurturing place where children can come to play, have fun, make friends and learn. The clubs are designed to foster social/emotional growth, improve fine and gross motor skills and provide opportunities to explore new things in a variety of settings. Each club session is based on a theme appropriate to the interests and age of the children.Some of the things we will explore during Fun Club include slime, bubbles, shaving cream art, movable paper projects, fizzle art, fork art and so much more!!! Children should bring a water bottle and a snack. Lunch should be eaten BEFORE coming to Fun Club!This is perfect for the kids on the distance learning days! All protocols, policies and procedures that were in place for summer camp will be followed during this program. Children will be required to wear masks/face coverings unless 6' of distance can be maintained. We will incorporate any COVID-19 updates provided by the Commonwealth as they are released and let you know about those.

GYM CLASS HEROES Join Coach Kevin and some of your favorite summer camp counselors for our version of gym class! We will play many of the kids' favorite games from summer camp and sprinkle in a few surprises!This will be a great way to get your kids active during those remote learning days. We will look at adding additional days depending on interest!We will be following all the same protocols, policies and procedures that took place during summer camp as well as adhering to all Massachusetts regulations regarding youth sports activities. All participants will be required to wear a mask/face covering to class. Depending on the activity for each day, masks/face covering may be required to be worn during the class. As long as the weather cooperates, we will operate these classes outside at McCarthy Park. Class will only be open to Medfield residents.Participants should bring a water bottle and snack and wear comfortable clothes and sneakers.

Join the staff from GoGo Allegro with your little ones for an introduction to music exploring rhythm and pitch in a fun and engaging setting!We believe children can be introduced to the joy of music and in the process develop valuable skills.  A comprehensive music program will aid in the educational, physical, and social development of your child.  Our primary objective is to encourage and develop children's natural creativity and interest in music.  We use musical concepts and movement to help young children engage with one another and gain skills they can use throughout their school years and beyond.Our programs teach active listening, vocabulary, phonological awareness, and print awareness all through the developmentally appropriate musical activities including exploration of rhythm, pitch, keeping time, and making music together.Children must be accompanied by an adult at each class.QUESTIONS regarding specific class information can be send to: info@gogoallegro.com

This exciting beginners guitar course will introduce students to fundamental technique and knowledge of the instrument, general musicianship, and introductory level pieces of music and will expose students to different styles of music. Learn the basics in field hockey! All skill levels are welcome. We will explore the basic rules of the game, proper grips & posture, ball and stick control, tackling, receiving/trapping, passing and go through fun drills. Depending on class size, we will try to get some game action in as well!Required equipment includes a field hockey stick, shin guards and mouth guard. Class will be led by coach Lynne Malmquist, a former varsity field hockey player at Medfield High School.** Note -- Indoor sessions will be held at the Pfaff Center, 124 North St. Due to the size of the space, we will only be running an indoor session for grades K-1 and 2-3. This is an introduction to the sport, so no previous experience is required. ** COVID regulations will be followed, including wearing a mask for the entire class. Also, we are limited to the number of participants per class. Only 10 players per class!

Each week your child will create their own masterpiece, using a wide variety of exciting art materials.  Experimenting with colors and textures will allow them the opportunity for self-expression and the ability to use their imagination!  They will also work on developing fine mother skills, and the ability to listen and follow directions...all while having fun and getting a little messy!Instructed by Ana Conneely! Parent/Guardian must stay for class if child is not potty trained!

ALL NEW CHALLENGES!With over 250 seasons from the US & aboard, Survivor has created some of the greatest challenges on television.  Manipulating various challenges, participants will work to outwit, outplay and outlast through mental, physical and creative tasks. Working in groups, pairs and individuals, participants will be presented with their very own season of Survivor.  Participants must arrive wearing a mask or face covering, and will need to wear it when they are not participating in the activity. All current Massachusetts regulations and guidance for sports during COVID-19 will be followed.  This is an indoor class in our Main Hall

If you’ve ever wanted to be a marine biologist or an oceanographer, come take the plunge into the Deep Blue Sea with Wicked Cool for Kids! Create models of ocean invertebrates and a dazzling coral garden. Dive deep with dolphins and find out about fish that bioluminesce (emit light). Tame the tides and ride the waves in this wicked cool oceanic adventure.

Join former Boston Celtics dancer Aly Pereira as she teaches the latest dance moves to the most popular music out right now!  Students will learn various dances to popular songs as the class incorporates choreography and different forms of freestyle movement.  At the end of the 6-week session, the children will film a short performance to show off their hard work.

5:00 PM - 5:45 PM    Field Hockey (Introduction) - Intro to Field Hockey (Indoors - Thursday)
Learn the basics in field hockey! All skill levels are welcome. We will explore the basic rules of the game, proper grips & posture, ball and stick control, tackling, receiving/trapping, passing and go through fun drills. Depending on class size, we will try to get some game action in as well!Required equipment includes a field hockey stick, shin guards and mouth guard. Class will be led by coach Lynne Malmquist, a former varsity field hockey player at Medfield High School.** Note -- Indoor sessions will be held at the Pfaff Center, 124 North St. Due to the size of the space, we will only be running an indoor session for grades K-1 and 2-3. This is an introduction to the sport, so no previous experience is required. ** COVID regulations will be followed, including wearing a mask for the entire class. Each week your child will create their own masterpiece, using a wide variety of exciting art materials.  Experimenting with colors and textures will allow them the opportunity for self-expression and the ability to use their imagination!  They will also work on developing fine mother skills, and the ability to listen and follow directions...all while having fun and getting a little messy!Instructed by Ana Conneely! Parent/Guardian must stay for class if child is not potty trained!

If you’ve ever wanted to be a marine biologist or an oceanographer, come take the plunge into the Deep Blue Sea with Wicked Cool for Kids! Create models of ocean invertebrates and a dazzling coral garden. Dive deep with dolphins and find out about fish that bioluminesce (emit light). Tame the tides and ride the waves in this wicked cool oceanic adventure.

Join former Boston Celtics dancer Aly Pereira as she teaches the latest dance moves to the most popular music out right now!  Students will learn various dances to popular songs as the class incorporates choreography and different forms of freestyle movement.  At the end of the 6-week session, the children will film a short performance to show off their hard work.

Offered year-round, every season provides new experiences, topics, and exploration!This class will run outside of the Pfaff Center.
