Join yoga instructor Kathryn Postulka for slow flow yoga in the morning at Hinkley Pond. Enjoy the morning sunrise over the water at the pond as Kathryn leads you throw your poses and gets you ready for the day!Class will be drop-in and registration is required. Also, masks/face coverings must be worn to class and can be removed once you are in your spot for the class.   We are so excited to offer this brand new adult fitness class with one of the best trainers in the area, Lauren Martin!The Boot Camp class will be a one hour strength and conditioning class. It will combine strength and cardio for a full body burn! The combination of high intensity intervals, functional strength movements, body weight exercises and cardio help build lean muscle and endurance for an efficient, well-rounded workout!For these classes, if you have your own weights (dumbbells, kettlebells), please bring them. There will be a limited number available for use, but for best results, please bring your own.The class will follow all proper CDC and MDPH guidelines around outdoor fitness classes. All participants should wear a mask until they are in their designated area. About Lauren MartinLauren has been a certified personal trainer for 20 years. She has experience in all areas of fitness with a specialization in high intensity interval training (HIIT) for all levels and family members. She is a mom f 3 little kids (ages 6, 3 and 6 months) and prides herself on helping people build strength and confidence through fitness, living a healthy lifestyle and making changes to help people become their best self.

ALL NEW GAMES AND ACTIVITIES!Designed to enhance gross motor skills, fundamentals, creative movement and fun, Micro Athletics is perfect to get your child moving! Each class focuses on skill enhancing activities and games; from learning to kick using RhinoSkin balls, balancing on Build n' Balance to playing Messy Backyard, Tube-mania and more, your child will be active and have a blast! The program is supported by an array of unique and age-appropriate equipment. We ask that one parent/guardian remains with the child during the class.  Sneakers are required.  Participants must arrive wearing a mask or face covering, and will need to wear it when they are not participating in the activity. All current Massachusetts regulations and guidance for sports during COVID-19 will be followed. This class will run outside of the Pfaff Center. During inclement weather, the class will be held in the Main Hall to maintain appropriate social distancing.

Middle School Run Club The Middle School Run Club combines relays, games, drills, running and goal setting to increase fitness while having fun. Participants will experience the benefits of physical activity at their own pace while also experiencing pride in their own personal accomplishments. The club will be led by Rose Colleran, an RRCA (Road Runners Club of America) and ACSM (American College of Sports Medicine) certified coach and trainer.CURRENT COVID-19 GUIDANCE -- Players will need to wear a mask or face covering while participating in the club. Learn the basics and improve your skills in field hockey! All skill levels are welcome for this skills and drills program. We will explore the basic rules of the game, proper grips & posture, ball and stick control, tackling, receiving/trapping, passing and go through fun drills. Depending on class size, we will try to get some game action in as well!We will split the players into two groups at the field to adhere to Massachusetts return to play regulations. All players must wear a mask or face covering to the field. As of now, players will not have to wear a mask while playing, but regulations are changing and we may need to have all players wearing a mask while playing.UPDATED GUIDANCE -- Players will need to wear a mask or face covering while participating in field hockey this fall. Please send your daughter with two masks (one wearing, one as a backup) each class. Any questions, contact Kevin at kryder@medfield.net. Required equipment includes a field hockey stick, shin guards, goggles and mouth guard. Classes will be led by coach Lynne Malmquist, a former varsity field hockey player at Medfield High School, as well as members of the high school field hockey team.

ALL NEW CHALLENGES!With over 250 seasons from the US & aboard, Survivor has created some of the greatest challenges on television.  Manipulating various challenges, participants will work to outwit, outplay and outlast through mental, physical and creative tasks. Working in groups, pairs and individuals, participants will be presented with their very own season of Survivor.  Participants must arrive wearing a mask or face covering, and will need to wear it when they are not participating in the activity. All current Massachusetts regulations and guidance for sports during COVID-19 will be followed.  This class will run outside of the Pfaff Center. Dig up a cool crystal collection to take home as you excavate Earth’s buried treasures.

9:30 AM - 10:25 AM    Puddlestompers! - Puddlestompers Nature Exploration
Come explore the wonders of Mother Nature this fall with your young naturalist! Call out to birds getting ready for their southerly migration!  Search for insects hiding on the forest floor!  Collect acorns for a squirrel feast! Twist and turn as you act out a leaves path and learn why they turn beautiful colors. Explore the various amazing open spaces Medfield has to offer. Weekly classes include hands-on nature exploration, active movement and play, snack and a story. The children must be accompanied by one adult for the duration of the class. Younger siblings, up to age 10 months and in a backpack, are welcome. Exceptions to age groupings may be granted by PUDDLESTOMPERS to allow siblings to take class together. This class will run outside of the Pfaff Center. During inclement weather, the class will be held in the main hall to maintain appropriate social distancing. 
 
12:30 PM - 2:00 PM    Fun Club with Ana! - Fun Club (Wednesday)
Fun Clubs are a safe and nurturing place where children can come to play, have fun, make friends and learn. The clubs are designed to foster social/emotional growth, improve fine and gross motor skills and provide opportunities to explore new things in a variety of settings. Each club session is based on a theme appropriate to the interests and age of the children.Some of the things we will explore during Fun Club include slime, bubbles, shaving cream art, movable paper projects, fizzle art, fork art and so much more!!! Children should bring a water bottle and a snack. Lunch should be eaten BEFORE coming to Fun Club!This is perfect for the kids on the distance learning days! All protocols, policies and procedures that were in place for summer camp will be followed during this program. Children will be required to wear masks/face coverings unless 6' of distance can be maintained. We will incorporate any COVID-19 updates provided by the Commonwealth as they are released and let you know about those.

GYM CLASS HEROES Join Coach Kevin and some of your favorite summer camp counselors for our version of gym class! We will play many of the kids' favorite games from summer camp and sprinkle in a few surprises!This will be a great way to get your kids active during those remote learning days. We will look at adding additional days depending on interest!We will be following all the same protocols, policies and procedures that took place during summer camp as well as adhering to all Massachusetts regulations regarding youth sports activities. All participants will be required to wear a mask/face covering to class. Depending on the activity for each day, masks/face covering may be required to be worn during the class. As long as the weather cooperates, we will operate these classes outside at McCarthy Park. Class will only be open to Medfield residents.Participants should bring a water bottle and snack and wear comfortable clothes and sneakers.

Join us at the Pfaff Center on Friday, October 30th, from 3:00 - 3:45pm for a fun, socially distanced, Halloween Concert!    We will have the Stacey Peasley Band performing Halloween songs to sing and dance along too! We encourage all kids to come dressed in their Halloween costumes! This show will be appropriate for children ages 6 and under, but all ages will be welcome! Also, parents/guardians must stay for the duration of the show with their kids.   We ask that one adult from the household register for the program. Each household will be given a spot on the lawn at the Pfaff to enjoy the show from (physically distanced from others). We are not charging admission for the event, but we do ask for you to give a donation to the Medfield Food Cupboard at the concert! We will be collecting canned goods and non-perishable food items and taking cash donations to help those families in need as we head into the holidays.  Pre-Registration is required for this event. This will be for MEDFIELD RESIDENTS only.The lawn will be marked with spots that are properly physically distanced from each other. All COVID-19 regulations and protocols will be in place during the event. These spots are first come first serve.

CANCELED SATURDAY 10/17league extended to November 7th Is your child too young for the Pre-K Soccer league, but ready to start organized soccer activities?  We have you covered with our MICRO SOCCER CLINIC for kids ages 3-4+ (Birthday must be before 8/31/2017 - no exceptions)! NEW REGULATIONS AROUND COVID-19 AND THIS FALL SOCCER SEASON: FACE COVERINGS must be worn at all times by participants, coaches and spectators unless 6' of distance can be maintained at all times. There is no exception to this rule. This is based on the latest guidance from the EEA Guidelines for Organized Youth and Adult Amateur Sports. This guidance is fluid and may change during the season; we will update if/when this regulation is changed. There will be a limit of ONE adult/guardian per family during the clinic. Even if you have two children participating in the session, only 1 parent/guardian may attend.The clinic will be taking place at the Large Athletic Fields in front of the little league fields.The clinic will be broken down into three time slots:8:00-8:40am9:00 - 9:40am10:00 - 10:40amDuring each session, a group of 10 children will be led through engaging drills and fun games by our coach, Mackenzie Brown. They will learn the fundamentals of soccer all the while practicing good sportsmanship. The groups will be able to scrimmage each other towards the end of the clinic (5 v. 5).We will have hand sanitizer available at the fields but also ask parents to have some ready for their child when they come off the field. All participants will need to have their own size 3 soccer ball with them. We will not be able to provide soccer balls this season. Please clearly write your last name on the ball in permanent marker. (If needed, we do have brand new, unused soccer balls available for purchase at the Pfaff Center or at the field).This clinic will start on Saturday, Sept 19 and we anticipate running for six weeks, ending on Oct. 31.    CANCELED SATURDAY 10/17league extended to November 7th  This league is for children entering Kindergarten in Fall 2021!Fall Soccer is scheduled to start on Saturday, Sept. 19!Rosters will be sent out by Thursday, Sept. 17  NEW REGULATIONS AROUND COVID-19 AND THIS FALL SOCCER SEASON: FACE COVERINGS must be worn at all times by players, coaches and spectators unless 6' of distance can be maintained at all times. There is no exception to this rule. This is based on the latest guidance from the EEA Guidelines for Organized Youth and Adult Amateur Sports. This is above and beyond the minimum requirements from the state.  There will be two coaches per team. We will have hand sanitizer available at the fields but also ask parents to have some ready for their child when they come off the field.  We will not be able to honor any special requests this season. Please understand this. Coaches will have their child(ren) on their specific team. All players will need to have their own size 3 soccer ball with them. We will not be able to provide soccer balls this season. Please clearly write your last name on the ball in permanent marker. (If needed, we do have brand new, unused soccer balls available for purchase at the Pfaff Center or at the field). To limit the amount of players on the field, we will play a 5v5 format this fall.   We are so excited to offer this brand new adult fitness class with one of the best trainers in the area, Lauren Martin!The Boot Camp class will be a one hour strength and conditioning class. It will combine strength and cardio for a full body burn! The combination of high intensity intervals, functional strength movements, body weight exercises and cardio help build lean muscle and endurance for an efficient, well-rounded workout!For these classes, if you have your own weights (dumbbells, kettlebells), please bring them. There will be a limited number available for use, but for best results, please bring your own.The class will follow all proper CDC and MDPH guidelines around outdoor fitness classes. All participants should wear a mask until they are in their designated area. About Lauren MartinLauren has been a certified personal trainer for 20 years. She has experience in all areas of fitness with a specialization in high intensity interval training (HIIT) for all levels and family members. Come explore the wonders of Mother Nature this fall with your young naturalist! Call out to birds getting ready for their southerly migration!  Search for insects hiding on the forest floor!  Collect acorns for a squirrel feast! Twist and turn as you act out a leaves path and learn why they turn beautiful colors. Explore the various amazing open spaces Medfield has to offer. Weekly classes include hands-on nature exploration, active movement and play, snack and a story. The children must be accompanied by one adult for the duration of the class. Younger siblings, up to age 10 months and in a backpack, are welcome. Exceptions to age groupings may be granted by PUDDLESTOMPERS to allow siblings to take class together. This class will run outside of the Pfaff Center. Fun Clubs are a safe and nurturing place where children can come to play, have fun, make friends and learn. The clubs are designed to foster social/emotional growth, improve fine and gross motor skills and provide opportunities to explore new things in a variety of settings. Each club session is based on a theme appropriate to the interests and age of the children.Some of the things we will explore during Fun Club include slime, bubbles, shaving cream art, movable paper projects, fizzle art, fork art and so much more!!! Children should bring a water bottle and a snack. Lunch should be eaten BEFORE coming to Fun Club!This is perfect for the kids on the distance learning days! All protocols, policies and procedures that were in place for summer camp will be followed during this program. Children will be required to wear masks/face coverings unless 6' of distance can be maintained. We will incorporate any COVID-19 updates provided by the Commonwealth as they are released and let you know about those.

We will look at adding additional days depending on interest!We will be following all the same protocols, policies and procedures that took place during summer camp as well as adhering to all Massachusetts regulations regarding youth sports activities. All participants will be required to wear a mask/face covering to class. Depending on the activity for each day, masks/face covering may be required to be worn during the class. As long as the weather cooperates, we will operate these classes outside at McCarthy Park. Class will only be open to Medfield residents.Participants should bring a water bottle and snack and wear comfortable clothes and sneakers.

We will look at adding additional days depending on interest!We will be following all the same protocols, policies and procedures that took place during summer camp as well as adhering to all Massachusetts regulations regarding youth sports activities. Depending on the activity for each day, masks/face covering may be required to be worn during the class. As long as the weather cooperates, we will operate these classes outside at McCarthy Park. Depending on class size, we will try to get some game action in as well!We will split the players into two groups at the field to adhere to Massachusetts return to play regulations.   We are so excited to offer this brand new adult fitness class with one of the best trainers in the area, Lauren Martin!The Boot Camp class will be a one hour strength and conditioning class. It will combine strength and cardio for a full body burn! The combination of high intensity intervals, functional strength movements, body weight exercises and cardio help build lean muscle and endurance for an efficient, well-rounded workout!For these classes, if you have your own weights (dumbbells, kettlebells), please bring them. There will be a limited number available for use, but for best results, please bring your own.The class will follow all proper CDC and MDPH guidelines around outdoor fitness classes. Middle School Run Club The Middle School Run Club combines relays, games, drills, running and goal setting to increase fitness while having fun. Participants will experience the benefits of physical activity at their own pace while also experiencing pride in their own personal accomplishments. The club will be led by Rose Colleran, an RRCA (Road Runners Club of America) and ACSM (American College of Sports Medicine) certified coach and trainer.CURRENT COVID-19 GUIDANCE -- Players will need to wear a mask or face covering while participating in the club. Come explore the wonders of Mother Nature this fall with your young naturalist! Call out to birds getting ready for their southerly migration!  Search for insects hiding on the forest floor!  Collect acorns for a squirrel feast! Twist and turn as you act out a leaves path and learn why they turn beautiful colors. Explore the various amazing open spaces Medfield has to offer. Weekly classes include hands-on nature exploration, active movement and play, snack and a story. The children must be accompanied by one adult for the duration of the class. Younger siblings, up to age 10 months and in a backpack, are welcome. Exceptions to age groupings may be granted by PUDDLESTOMPERS to allow siblings to take class together. This class will run outside of the Pfaff Center. Fun Clubs are a safe and nurturing place where children can come to play, have fun, make friends and learn. The clubs are designed to foster social/emotional growth, improve fine and gross motor skills and provide opportunities to explore new things in a variety of settings. Each club session is based on a theme appropriate to the interests and age of the children.Some of the things we will explore during Fun Club include slime, bubbles, shaving cream art, movable paper projects, fizzle art, fork art and so much more!!! Children should bring a water bottle and a snack. Lunch should be eaten BEFORE coming to Fun Club!This is perfect for the kids on the distance learning days! All protocols, policies and procedures that were in place for summer camp will be followed during this program. Children will be required to wear masks/face coverings unless 6' of distance can be maintained. We will incorporate any COVID-19 updates provided by the Commonwealth as they are released and let you know about those.

Depending on the activity for each day, masks/face covering may be required to be worn during the class. As long as the weather cooperates, we will operate these classes outside at McCarthy Park. Class will only be open to Medfield residents.Participants should bring a water bottle and snack and wear comfortable clothes and sneakers. 
 
3:45 PM - 4:45 PM    Field Hockey (Skills & Drills) - Field Hockey Skills and Drills (1st/2nd Grades)
Learn the basics and improve your skills in field hockey! All skill levels are welcome for this skills and drills program. We will explore the basic rules of the game, proper grips & posture, ball and stick control, tackling, receiving/trapping, passing and go through fun drills. Depending on class size, we will try to get some game action in as well!We will split the players into two groups at the field to adhere to Massachusetts return to play regulations. All players must wear a mask or face covering to the field. As of now, players will not have to wear a mask while playing, but regulations are changing and we may need to have all players wearing a mask while playing.UPDATED GUIDANCE -- Players will need to wear a mask or face covering while participating in field hockey this fall. Please send your daughter with two masks (one wearing, one as a backup) each class. Any questions, contact Kevin at kryder@medfield.net. Required equipment includes a field hockey stick, shin guards, goggles and mouth guard. Classes will be led by coach Lynne Malmquist, a former varsity field hockey player at Medfield High School, as well as members of the high school field hockey team.

Each week your child will create their own masterpiece, using a wide variety of exciting art materials.  Experimenting with colors and textures will allow them the opportunity for self-expression and the ability to use their imagination!  They will also work on developing fine mother skills, and the ability to listen and follow directions...all while having fun and getting a little messy!Instructed by Ana Conneely! Parent/Guardian must stay for class if child is not potty trained!

ALL NEW GAMES AND ACTIVITIES!Designed to enhance gross motor skills, fundamentals, creative movement and fun, Micro Athletics is perfect to get your child moving! Each class focuses on skill enhancing activities and games; from learning to kick using RhinoSkin balls, balancing on Build n' Balance to playing Messy Backyard, Tube-mania and more, your child will be active and have a blast! The program is supported by an array of unique and age-appropriate equipment. Create models of ocean invertebrates and a dazzling coral garden. Dive deep with dolphins and find out about fish that bioluminesce (emit light). Tame the tides and ride the waves in this wicked cool oceanic adventure.
