Join yoga instructor Kathryn Postulka for slow flow yoga in the morning at Hinkley Pond. Enjoy the morning sunrise over the water at the pond as Kathryn leads you throw your poses and gets you ready for the day!Class will be drop-in and registration is required. Also, masks/face coverings must be worn to class and can be removed once you are in your spot for the class. NO PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE REQUIRED. Learn beginner fundamentals, proper technique and strokes from the skilled professionals of Dick Waterfall Tennis. Lessons are designed for beginner through intermediate skilled players. Participants will be grouped by age and/or skill level.Equipment will not be provided.  Children ages 5-8 should have a 21 inch racquet.Children ages 8-12 should have a 23 inch racquet.** Participants must arrive wearing a mask or face covering, and will need to wear it when they are not participating in the activity. All current Massachusetts regulations and guidance for sports during COVID-19 will be followed. *** This activity is for Medfield residents only. Please note that this is a 4-day program that runs Monday through Thursday, with Friday serving as a potential make-up date in case of rain.

In Discovery Camp, campers partake in a daily activity rotation offering sports, art, music, drama, science & nature and group games. Camp activities will be held at the Pfaff Center, and the Dale Street School’s fields and courts. We return an excited and experienced group of staff and counselors dedicated to providing your camper a spectacular summer. Campers will be grouped according to their age and grade.   Updates for summer 2020: --> Groups no larger than 12 this summer (9 campers & 3 staff)--> Camp will be RESIDENTS only--> We will not go to Hinkley Pond--> Camp day will run 9am - 2pm--> Camp will be cancelled if the forecast is for a rain dayBoard of Health regulations requires each child to have an up-to-date health form on file. The form requires an up-to-date immunization record, physical and emergency contact information in the event of a medical emergency. As was the case in previous years, all health forms will be completed and stored in an online database through www.CampDoc.com. You will only need to complete the form once (should take about 5 minutes) and upload your child's physical and immunization report to the site. Returning campers will need to update their information in their profile including an up-to-date immunization and physical. There will also be new authorizations to sign off on regarding camp this year and COVID-19.Kids will need the following on a daily basis for camp: refillable, reusable water bottle, snack, lunch, sunscreen (applied prior to camp and a bottle to re-apply during the day) and SNEAKERS (no open-toed shoes allowed). We want to limit the number of items campers bring each day as space will be limited. Please send lunch in a disposable lunch bag.This camp must comply with regulations of the Massachusetts Department of Public health and be licensed by the Medfield Board of Health.

MEDFIELD GIRLS YOUTH FIELD HOCKEY REGISTRATION BEGINS ON JULY 9!We are super excited to announce our participation in the Commonwealth Girls Field Hockey League this fall for the third consecutive year. Our teams will host games at Metacomet Park and play road games against teams from Attleboro, Walpole, Franklin, Foxboro, Norwood and more! As part of the league, we will host one weekly practice in addition to the game on Saturday. Weekly practices will take place at McCarthy Park. We will need at least 14 players on each team to be able to enter the league, and will be able to have a maximum of 18 players on each team. We will only have one team per session (ex, only one team in the 5/6 grade league).REGISTRATION DEADLINE: Tuesday, July 21! We need to be able to inform the league if we will have a team!The fee will include everything EXCEPT a uniform. We will have a fitting for uniforms at a date and time TBA. We are working on a cost for the uniforms, but do not expect it to exceed $60. This will be payable by cash/check at the night of the fitting.WITH COVID-19 and new regulations, players will be REQUIRED to wear a mask when they get to the field. They will be allowed to remove the mask only after the coach has given the OK.FIELD HOCKEY goggles will be required of all players by the league this year. You cannot wear lacrosse goggles as the referees will not allow those in games. We have field hockey goggles available to anyone that will need them. In Discovery Camp, campers partake in a daily activity rotation offering sports, art, music, drama, science & nature and group games. Camp activities will be held at the Pfaff Center, and the Dale Street School’s fields and courts. We return an excited and experienced group of staff and counselors dedicated to providing your camper a spectacular summer. Campers will be grouped according to their age and grade.   Updates for summer 2020: --> Groups no larger than 12 this summer (9 campers & 3 staff)--> Camp will be RESIDENTS only--> We will not go to Hinkley Pond--> Camp day will run 9am - 2pm--> Camp will be cancelled if the forecast is for a rain dayBoard of Health regulations requires each child to have an up-to-date health form on file.
